TAVi Health BlogNational Wellness Conference: Day 4
And then the rains came... The final day of exhbiting at the National Wellness Conference turned out to be a wet one, but it did nothing to damper what was a great week for TAVi Health ... and an equally great week for the hundreds of wellness professionals who turned out for the conference.
As we get ready to head back to Iowa, here are a couple of exciting tidbits to keep in mind:
Watch the Website In the coming weeks, TAVi Health will launch a completely free web module that will include downloadable, ready-to-use articles, posters, flyers, and other educational materials to help you communicate with your employees and/or participants. The materials will cover a wide range of topics under the wellness umbrella and will be great for posting in breakrooms, including in newsletters, or sending out as a press release to local media. We are offering this content free of charge as a service to the legion of wellness professionals we work with. It is open to all - whether you are a TAVi Health client or not. It is simply our way of sharing our expertise with the rest of the world.
Like Us? Tell Others! We had a great conversation with a new client at the conference. She mentioned that she would DEFINITELY be giving us a plug at an upcoming networking group meeting she would be attending. To help her spread the word about TAVi, we are providing her with a handful of our new catalog to hand out. If you would like to tell others about TAVi Health, we would certainly appreciate it. The further we expand our reach the wider our catalog of offerings will grow. We are well aware that we are different than anything else on the market. Our goal is to help you work smarter, not harder. To provide offerings that are simple and effective. We know others could benefit from our offerings, we just hope that you will help us reach them by directing them our way.
New Offerings on the Way In the next week, two of our new offerings will hit the website. Be on the lookout for The Great Pedometer Step Off (GPS for short), a pedometer-based challenge that takes teams from one of five points in the United States - Boise, Las Vegas, Winston-Salem, Buffalo, or Pensacola) to the geographical center of North America, Lebanon, Kansas. The second is The Good Stuff, which sports a video game theme. You try to take the challenge mascot, Hopper, to the next level by gradually increasing the frequency and variety of your physical fitness routine. Participants will have to complete bonus rounds - simple self-care activities - in addition, to move to the next level.
Following closely on the heels of those launches, will be the release of Sticktoitiveness. Go ahead, read it again. STICK-TO-IT-IVE-NESS. This program is designed to be implemented in the period just before Thanksgiving through New Year's Day. Participants self-select one area to focus on and track their success. The three areas are eliminating sugar-sweetened beverages (yes, completely), maintaining an exercise schedule than includes at least 30 minutes of activity most days of the week, or maintaining a schedule that includes at least 7 hours of sleep a night.
Back on the Road Fall will be busy for TAVi Health and we may be coming to a conference near you. We will attend the WELCOA Summit and the Wisconsin Wellness Council conference, both in September. We will also be at the Iowa Wellness Council conference in October. If you're not attending either of those events and you know of a conference we SHOULD be at, drop us a line at twist@tavihealth.com.
Thanks Again! For those who stopped to see us in Stevens Point, we bid a fond farewell and sincere thank you for giving TAVi Health a spin. For those of you have have yet to meet, drop us an email at twist@tavihealth.com or call us at 888.491.1625 if you'd like to see a sample of any of our nearly two dozen offerings!
